The small baroque castle was built around 1760 by the Vrancsics family. Until today the building has changed its function several times, there was a time when it was used as a livery stable. The building was bought in 2007, and after years of hard work, the beautiful mansion was restored and furnished in a modern style.

Research has revealed that nine of the sixteen rooms in the ground floor, two-storey, rectangular building with a hipped mansard roof, have murals by István Dorfmeister. Seven rooms have already been restored. The main work is the ceiling mural in the Banqueting Hall, which depicts an allegory of the four seasons.

The 9 x 5 meter mural, dated 1771, bears Dorfmeister’s signature.
